We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out for our second annual Customer Conference this past Monday, September 19, 2016 in Freeport, Maine. We hosted the event again this year at the Hilton Gardens Hotel. September is always such a beautiful month to head up to Freeport.
Soft Trac has hosted many user groups, training sessions and other gatherings related to the Abila software that we sell, and this was our second full day user conference. We were pleased to again have around 35 customers, staff members, and presenters join us for the day.
The conference was focused on session tracks related to Abila MIP Fund Accounting™ and Abila MIP Advance™ covering topics including:

- Taking the Next Step in Budgeting
- Managed Hosting (Cloud) Services for Abila Nonprofit Solutions & Related Products

Our Keynote speaker this year was Justin Morrow, Product Marketing Manager from Abila. He presented highlights from Abila's recent 2016 Nonprofit Finance Study: Compliance, People, and Process Complexities. We were one of the first groups to get a glimpse of the results of this study, and get insight on the state of finance professionals in nonprofits.
