The Payroll workshop covers all aspects of setting up the payroll system for use and processing payrolls. Participants set up the Payroll module in Administration, and then move into the Payroll system to set up the basic payroll codes. Also covered are the setup procedures for payroll distribution, employees and default timesheets. Participants will learn how to enter and adjust employee balances, as well as all of the steps for processing payroll and producing payrolls with the Direct Deposit module. State and Federal Tax reporting will be discussed and steps for W-2 production.
